Man. This is totaly horrific. Those stereotype flats doesn't have any link to any culture, exept to the culture of money. This is just fucking disneyland.

Shame to the architects and investors, they missed an incredible opportunity.

UMMMM..., WE ARE DESTROYING THE PLANET AND DEPLETING ALL IT'S NATURAL RESOURCES AND CAUSING MASS EXTINCTION OF ANIMAL AND PLANT life AND MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ARE STARVING AROUND THE WORLD every day.
WOO HOO! I DON'T KNOW "WHAT" TO THINK BUT I AM "SERIOUSLY" UNCOMFORTABLE.

I can't believe that human are so ignorant. We are destroying all the world resorces and becoming like termites. And it is said that humans suppost to be the Keepers of the world. What a JOKE.

Ok actually, YOU'RE ignorant because what Dubai is doing is saving their country from becoming another poverty stricken country. Their sole economic resource is their oil reserves which are said to be depleted in the very near future. If they do not resort to a tourism based economy the country would fall into a worse depression than we, as first world citizens could ever imagine -- causing their country and their citizens to become statistics of poverty. If you don't find it aesthetically pleasing ok, get over it, but it is actually going to save lives and an entire country's economic system. Morons.

Personally, I think it looks awesome anyway!
